I was born on the island of Enniskillen and live in Belfast. I have recently set up a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee, called Quotidian- Word on the Street Limited. The remit of Quotidian is to create innovative ways to animate civic space with literature. The first project of Quotidian – Word on the Street Limited is Ireland’s first Poetry JukeBox, which is located at The Crescent Arts Centre in Belfast. You can read about it here: https://www.irishtimes.com/culture/books/poetry-jukebox-amplifying-quiet-voices-and-beautiful-words-1.3244063
My most recent work is Available Light ( Arlen House 2018) I have previously published We are Bone (Lagan Press 2013), The Cello Suites ( Lagan Press 2009) and Reading the Dog (Lagan Press 2006) I am currently a poetry mentor for the Poetry Society and can provide mentoring and feedback in 1:1 sessions, either in person or online via Skype. These sessions can be booked through the Poetry Society.
We’ll have to get together for a catch-up. x
