Poetry Jukebox – Request Time – Maureen Boyle @BoyleMo

Poetry Jukebox is an on street audio installation of poetry for public spaces. This beautiful(and heart-breaking)poem The Last Spring, is by Maureen Boyle. It was included in our Once Barefoot curation of poems about the climate and the earth. This poem was the first words spoken from the new poetry jukebox installed at Centre Culturel Irlandais. This curation is in Paris, and concurrently at the Tropical Ravine in Belfast City Council’s Botanic Gardens.

  1. I love this deeply touching poem which means so much now as we see and appreciate Spring as never before on our daily permitted exercise walks. Please could I have it in its written form so that I can share it with a monthly poetry workshopping group I belong to? We always take along a published poem and one of our own. We meet online thanks to Zoom now!

    Thank you,
